As an Irish national living in the UK or Ireland, you pay the same tuition fees as undergraduate students from England, Scotland, and Wales! With a range of scholarships and maintenance grants available through the University or Student Finance, you’ll have plenty of financial options to help fund your studies.
We also offer a variety of on-site accommodation options; with financial guidance, budgeting tips, and CV support all available through our dedicated student services team.
We know that travelling from overseas to visit a university isn’t always simple, but experiencing life at Harper Adams can be a huge help when making your decision.
Exploring the campus, meeting our community, and seeing where you’ll study and live can give you real confidence in your next steps. That’s why we offer travel support where possible and plenty of opportunities to visit throughout the year. And if you can’t make it? We’ll often come to you, with events and outreach across Ireland.
We understand that travelling to an Open Day from Ireland can feel like a big step, but we know how important it is to experience Harper Adams in person when making your decision.
For those who meet widening participation criteria, we offer a transport subsidy to help cover travel costs. We also organise shuttle buses from main airports to the campus, so you can get here hassle-free.
If you’re unable to attend an Open Day, we offer regular Campus Visits and tailored tours. To book your visit or request a specific date, simply complete our campus tour form.

At Harper Adams University, we welcome applications from students holding the Irish Leaving Certificate.
While specific entry requirements vary by course, we typically require a combination of higher-level subjects with specific grade achievements. Our typical offer ranges between 88 – 112 UCAS points, which can be achieved through various qualifications, including the Irish Leaving Certificate.
Our other entry requirements vary depending on the course you’re interested in, but we are happy to consider a wide range of qualifications, including those from Ireland and relevant work experience!
